Certificate in Gerontology

The Certificate in Gerontology is an 18 credit-hour program focused on age-related sociological, psychological, and biological changes inherent in the aging population. Courses in sociology, psychology, biology, human development and other related disciplines are offered on-campus. The required core courses and several electives are transmitted statewide via the UVM Distance Learning Network. Two core courses (six credits) are required, along with four approved elective courses (12 credits).
