Through the Office of Multi-Cultural Affairs, qualified students may access a
comprehensive series of
  • unique support services
  • instruction
  • assistance based on the student's educational needs

Student participants will find our staff to be both responsive and action-oriented members of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln community. A combination of Nebraska general tax dollars, Congressional funds, private foundation, and other revenue sources enable the Multi-Cultural Affairs office to address the educational needs of its participants. The resources of the Office are further dedicated to students and individuals who are American citizens.

Direct support is provided to students whose ethnic background is African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native American, or Asian American, as well as qualified students who are low income and/or first-generation. Preference will be given to students based on their need for assistance, educational preparation and leadership support.
