The Department of Pathology, Clinical Laboratory Science program offers a graduate program leading to the Master of Science Degree in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS), non-thesis option. The course of study enhances the student’s knowledge and skills in several major categorical areas of clinical laboratory science. The curriculum is designed to prepare students for careers as administrative laboratory directors, clinical laboratory consultants, technical supervisors or laboratory educators. Students are required to attend three one-week laboratory courses and a one-week capstone course which are held on the UND campus. The program is offered through distance learning with asynchronous online delivery. Students participating in online coursework are required to have Internet access. Specific computer requirements are available from the CLS program. A limited number of teaching and research assistantships are available for students wishing to study on campus.
