As the only one of its kind in Maryland, the M.S. in Human Services Administration program is designed specifically for people who want to enhance quality of life for individuals, couples, families, groups and communities. The program focuses on identifying organizational and client needs and on developing the leadership skills required to design and administer effective human services programs. Through classroom and fieldwork experiences, students acquire skills in program planning, implementation and evaluation; grant writing and administration; fundraising; personnel and fiscal administration; and community outreach. A capstone experience in the final year provides the opportunity to intern in one of a diverse range of human services agencies.
