Analytical and experimental techniques from physics, computer science and engineering play a key role in the quantitative study of a wide range of biological systems. Interesting questions range from the properties of single proteins to computations carries out by neural circuits in the brain. The aim of our graduate program in cellular and neural biophysics is to produce scientists who can operate at the interface of the physical, computational and biological sciences.
