The graduate programs in cinema-television expose students to the aesthetic and technical values of the medium through course work, production activities and research. Candidates for the M.A. degree may emphasize either production or critical studies. M.F.A. candidates can choose a production; screenwriting; film, video and computer animation; interactive media or motion picture producing (Peter Stark Program) emphasis. The Ph.D. offers emphases in critical studies or film and literature.
