The Neurobiology Section of the Department of Biological Sciences is an interdisciplinary research and graduate training program. The section consists of some 20 faculty members representing the fields of behavioral neuroscience, computational neuroscience, developmental neurobiology, membrane biophysics, molecular neurogerontology, neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, and neuroendocrinology, with an emphasis on learning, memory, and neural plasticity. Neurobiology is at the core of the campus wide Program in Neural, Informational and Behavioral Science, which integrates over 60 faculty affiliated with over 20 departments.
