An interdisciplinary core faculty offers training in field and laboratory research, with current interests spanning foraging behavior, caching, mating systems, parental conflict and cooperation, sibling competition, predator-prey relations, and communication. The core members of the program study birds, mammals, and insects, principally from an adaptationist perspective.
