The program structure insures that all candidates for the degree receive comprehensive background and breadth in the subdisciplines of chemistry needed to teach a broad range of chemical topics at the university level. Graduate course work in chemistry is accompanied by courses in learning theory, science curricula, research methods and supporting pedagogical electives which enable the graduate to undertake research in the teaching and learning of chemistry.     Accreditation Information: North Central Association of Colleges and Schools  # Of Credits Required:   Time To Degree:     Previous Degrees Pre-Requisite Courses International Student Requirements An international student is not a citizen of the United States or classified by United States Immigration and Naturalization Service as a resident alien. International undergraduate, transfer, and graduate applicants must meet English Language proficiency as well as academic and financial requirements before being fully admitted to the university.
