Students may select one of three areas in which to concentrate their study: cell and molecular biology; ecology, evolution, and conservation biology; or general biology. students should consult the list of department faculty members below for individual research specialties. The department faculty members participate jointly with other colleges to offer interdisciplinary graduate programs leading to the Doctor of Philosophy degree in cell and molecular biology; ecology, evolution, and conservation biology; biochemistry; and environmental sciences and health.
