The Horticulture Department offers graduate programs leading to the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees (the latter is an interdepartmental area with forestry) which are available in physiological, post-harvest physiology; plant nutrition and anatomy; environmental stress; tissue and cell culture; breeding and genetics; and production, management, cultural, ecological and landscape aspects of horticultural crops, particularly floricultural, ornamental, turf, vegetable, dry bean, and potato crop commodities.
