The MU graduate program provides students both professional education and leadership in social work practice, research and community services. The strong academic setting upholds the essential values and ethics of the social work profession to enhance social functioning and promote social justice. Through the achievement of competence in both a role specialization and a field-of-practice concentration, students are educated to be advanced generalists in either a clinical or administration and planning concentration.

The School also offers a Ph.D. with an emphasis in policy development.
