Applying modern scientific methodology to age-old philosophical questions posed by the likes of Aristotle, Machiavelli and Hobbes, social psychologists explore human behavior in its social and cultural context. MU's program offers graduate study leading to a Ph.D. in social psychology. Students may pursue both basic and applied interests and may also complete a minor in the area of psychological methods and statistics.
