The program in art education is multidimensional, focusing on issues related to art curriculum, art instruction, assessment, art teacher education, and policy studies. Students have opportunities to conduct research in urban and suburban school settings, in museum education programs, within the initial teacher licensure program at the University, and in schools that have implemented comprehensive, cumulative, visual arts curricula.
