The Program in the History of Science and Technology at the University of Minnesota offers graduate work leading to the M.A. and Ph.D. degrees. The four main areas of coursework are history of the physical sciences, history of biology, history of technology, and social and institutional history of science and technology. The interests of the faculty span the period from the Scientific Revolution through the 20th century, and cover many dimensions of science and technology, ranging from conceptual and methodological to social and political issues.
