A wide selection of course offerings is available to graduate students in electrical engineering. Students are required and encouraged to enroll in appropriate offerings in other departments, such as physics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, chemical engineering, physical chemistry, and mechanical engineering. The advisor and the student, with the concurrence of the department graduate committee, are free to use great flexibility at both the MS and PhD levels to choose courses from any scientific field to fit a particular goal.
