Members of the Chemical Physics faculty and the students working with them study a wide variety of problems, ranging from the preparation of helium dimer in sub-milliKelvin molecular beams to the characterization of protein-RNA interactions using site-directed mutagenesis techniques. State-of-the-art experimental instrumentation and the outstanding computational facilities at the Supercomputer Institute help keep this program at the cutting edge of chemical physics research.
