We teach across the spectrum of classical studies, from homer to late antiquity. We have particular strength in Greek lyric poetry, ancient religion, neo-platonic philosophy, ancient drama, women in antiquity, Greek oratory, and Roman archaeology. Nearly all our Ph.D. students are supported through fellowships or research or teaching assistantships.
