All students with a bachelor's degree or equivalent who are accepted for the Graduate Program in Radiation Biology must enter the Program as a candidate for the M.S. degree. The Radiation Biology Graduate Program offers the M.S. degree with and without thesis. Students may be accepted into the Ph.D. program in Radiation Biology by earning the M.S. degree and becoming Ph.D. eligible. Students who have earned an M.S. degree with a thesis in another science department at The University of Iowa or another accredited university also may be accepted into the Ph.D. program in Radiation Biology.
