The University of Denver offers both a B.A. and an M.A. in Digital Media Studies (DMS). Working as a partnership among the School of Communication, the School of Art and Art History, and the Department Computer Science, DMS involves students in cutting edge exploration of the design and production of multimedia/digital media, and to the technical, social, political, legal, cultural and individual issues relating to their uses. Students graduating with a degree in Digital Media Studies are ideally situated to take advantage of the expanding job possibilities in graphic design, digital video production, interactive media and multimedia production, electronic publishing, on-line information services and more. These employment possibilities exist both within and outside of the digital media industries. Because DMS graduates have design, technical and critical skills, they are well equipped to address the many challenges faced by business, government, non-profit organizations and educational institutions as they venture into the digital unknown.
