Graduate training leading to the Ph.D. degree includes 45 credit hours of formal course work, four (4) laboratory rotations, an oral comprehensive examination, 45 credit hours of dissertation research, and a final defense of the dissertation. Seminars, journal clubs, and laboratory meetings are also important components of the program. The program of study is designed to provide the student with a comprehensive background and training in Immunology.
