Ranked second nationally by U.S. News & World Report, the Certificate of Advanced Study in Digital Libraries is an 18-credit program available in online and campus formats. It can be tailored to meet the needs of those who want to work with organizing and managing collections of digital information, either within or outside of established libraries. Digital librarians graduate from the certificate program with knowledge of digital library theories and technologies, hands-on experience in the planning and development of digital libraries, and an understanding of emerging trends in digital libraries from social, political, and cultural perspectives.
