The graduate emphasis in human development may be added by students completing doctoral training in Communication, Education, Linguistics, Psychology, or Sociology. Courses to be offered within the program are taught by participating faculty within Anthropology, Black Studies, Communication, Counseling, Education, Linguistics, Psychology, Sociology, and Speech and Hearing Sciences. Graduate training is concerned with biological influences, changing cognitive capacities, and sociocultural influences across the life span.
