Included are specialized studies in geophysics, geochemistry, high pressure experimental petrology and rock deformation, tectonics, structural geology, igneous, metamorphic and sedimentary petrology, surficial processes, stratigraphy, paleoecology, phylogeny reconstruction, functional morphology and evolution.
