The ESPM graduate program focuses on current and future anthropogenic environmental problems of major social and political impact, which are based in the biological and physical sciences. The program offers two general kinds of education needed to produce graduates qualified to address these hybrid problems: 1) broadly based interdisciplinary education, and 2) disciplinary education in relevant fields supplemented with exposure to cross-disciplinary communication and problem solving.
