The developmental training program is designed to train graduate students to become researchers, university and college teachers in the field of developmental psychology. While each graduate student's program is to a large extent "tailor-made" to fit the student's abilities and interests, the program gives all trainees broad and thorough training in all aspects of the field, including the basic facts, theories, concepts, and methods of developmental psychology. Cognition, perception, learning, emotion, infancy, socialization, personality and social development, and language development are represented in depth in pro-seminars and graduate seminars.
