On Campus   The Department of History offers the Master of Arts degree with emphases in the United States, Europe, Latin America, and Public History. There are two options for earning a Master of Arts with a major in History. The first option requires 30 hours of graduate history courses, including thesis, or 24 hours of graduate history courses, including thesis, plus 6 graduate hours in a minor field. The second option, which does not include a thesis, requires 36 hours of graduate work in history.
