Graduate studies in the Dept. of Biology at Texas A&M University offers outstanding research opportunities in behavioral biology, biological clocks, cellular and molecular biology, developmental biology, ecology, evolution, genomics, microbiology, physiology, and plant science, working with organisms ranging from viral, fungal, and bacterial model systems to higher and lower plants, invertebrates, and vertebrates. The diverse interests of our faculty foster interdisciplinary research and provide graduate students with a broad perspective on modern biological problems. The Biology Dept. offers both Ph.D. and M.S. degrees.
