They counsel people with disabilities resulting from birth defects, illness or disease, accidents, or the stress of daily life. They evaluate the strengths and limitations of individuals, provide personal and vocational counseling, and arrange for medical care, independent living, vocational training and job placement. The scope of problems in the rehabilitation field is expanding and the number of individuals with disabilities is increasing. As the nature of services becomes more complex, opportunities in recent years have been excellent in all area of rehabilitation counseling.     Accreditation Information: Council on Rehabilitation Education (CORE)  # Of Credits Required:   Time To Degree:     Previous Degrees Pre-Requisite Courses International Student Requirements In addition to submitting an application, application fee, GRE/GMAT scores, and 3 letters of recommendation, international students must also submit scores from a language admission exam and financial documentation stating that the student has $17,000 USD in support of graduate study.
