On Campus

An interdisciplinary Program in Photonics has been established at Oklahoma State University (OSU) by the academic Departments of Physics and Electrical and computer Engineering. Students may pursue an MS in Photonics with specialization in electrical engineering, physics, or biophotonics. A multidisciplinary program of course work will be tailored to the goals of each individual student as he/she is mentored by a chosen faculty member from the Department of specialization and guided by his/her Advisory Committee. Faculty from the Department of Microbiology also participate in the biophotonics program. Students are generally provided a teaching assistantship in their home department (i.e. physics or ee).
