Most areas of philosophy are represented, with particular strengths in ethics (both applied and theoretical), the history of philosophy, and American philosophy. Both thesis and non- thesis options are available as well as a program of study specializing in applied ethics. Because of our excellent student- teacher ratio, graduate students enjoy small seminar sizes, individualized guidance, and easy access to the faculty.
