Graduate programs in Microbiology, Cell and Molecular Biology leading to the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees are supported by the research faculty in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics and adjunct faculty in other departments. Graduate studies for a M.S. degree require 30 credit hours and Graduate studies for a Ph.D. degree requires 90 credit hours for students entering with a bachelors degree or only 60 credit hours for students entering with a completed M.S. degree.
