Master of Career Development and Community Counseling
On Campus

The Master of Career Development and Community Counseling is a community-based professional services degree that is designed to meet the needs of human service providers and prospective human service professionals. Graduates of this program are prepared for careers in social service agencies, career development programs, community development organizations, or community college settings. The program provides students with a comprehensive , international, and transcultural approach to counseling and enhances provider-to-consumer system interfaces in the delivery of community services. It integrates the world of work (job search, placement, assessment) with community mental health issues and the changing dynamics of human service systems. The degree program offers a blend of the theoretical with the practical application of cross-cultural, socio-behavioral aspects of human services delivery.
