This provides a solid foundation leading to a second year of study which includes courses from a broad range of options selected by the student based upon interests and faculty advisor guidance. Ph.D. candidates majoring in Agricultural Economics complete year long core course sequences in microeconomic and macroeconomic theory and econometrics.
