St. Catherine University in collaboration with Dominican University offers an accredited Library Information Science program (MLIS) in the state of Minnesota. The program requires a minimum of 36 hours of graduate course credit; a certificate of special study is also available. The MLIS produces professionals that are prepared to locate, organize, and present information in a variety of career areas from traditional libraries to corporations and museums.
