The program is approved for the school counselor certificate issued by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and meets requirements for the Missouri Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). Concentrations are available in elementary school counseling, secondary school counseling, and community counseling. The Education Specialist degree provides advanced knowledge and skill and meets requirements for renewal of current certificates.
