Our Master of Arts degree in International Relations is designed to prepare students for careers involving global and international politics, including careers in government, education, business, agriculture, health, and international organizations. Our coursework also accommodates students who plan to pursue a Ph.D. in political science. Established in 1978, our flexible, interdisciplinary program revolves around five core seminars in political science in which students master key principles of international relations. Students choose additional courses from approved electives in Political Science and other fields that will support their individual career objectives and enhance their global awareness and understanding. Our faculty are well-published experts in their fields and our students also benefit from a diverse student body from the U.S. and around the world.
