Currently, you will be one of only a handful of graduate students working for your advisor, receiving individual faculty guidance for your thesis. Students completing a masters degree with a specialization in materials can select specific study tracks that enable them to develop in-depth knowledge in specific areas of technology. Cal Poly’s MS-MATE program is a project-based degree that focuses on the blending of fundamental theory with applied design.
