With the skills you’ll learn at the most complex, best-equipped film school in America, you can direct yourself into an exciting range of professions that produce a very rewarding living. Students have access to a full sound stage studio and green screen studio overseen by a full time staff. Academy students have won awards in festivals in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Palm Springs, Spain, South America, France, Italy, and New York. The department also showcases student work at the Epidemic Film Festival at Historic Castro Theatre in San Francisco. Established in 1929, the university offers accredited AA, BFA, BA, M.Arch, MA and MFA programs in 14 areas of art and design emphasis.
