The Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program at The Arizona School of Health Sciences incorporates basic science education with clinical education through a combination of on-campus classes, clinical rotations, and computer-based education. Applicants must have earned a Baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or a minimum of 90 semester hours / 125 quarter hours to apply. Graduates will be prepared to handle the extensive scope of audiologic care; including the diagnosis and management of auditory and vestibular deficits for all ages, tinnitus management, hearing conservation, and neuro-audiologic examination, as well as the management and business aspects of audiology. The Entry Level Au.D. program is a four-year doctoral degree program with the fourth year consisting of full-time clinical rotations.
   
Accreditation Information: The Commission on Institutions of Higher Education of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools (NCA), 30 North LaSalle Street, Suite 2400, Chicago, Illinois 60602, Phone (800)-621-7440, accredits A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. The Entry Level Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) Program at the Arizona School of Health Sciences, a school of A. T. Still University of Health Sciences, is fully Accredited in Audiology by the Council on Academic Accreditation in Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Additionally, Audiology accreditation for the Entry Level and Transitional Doctor of Audiology Programs will be sought through the newly formed Accreditation Commission on Audiology Education (ACAE). The Audiology Department has informed the steering committee of ACAE of the intent to apply for accreditation at the earliest possible opportunity.
