The graduate certificate is intended primarily for students working toward a graduate degree in English and for people who wish to obtain the knowledge and skills in teaching English to non-native speakers either domestically or overseas. The certificate can stand alone as a separate credential or be integrated with the requirements of the M.A. or M.A.T. program in English offered in our department.
