Members of our graduate faculty warmly welcome your interest in our English & Publishing program. We believe that there has never been a more exciting time to build a career in the publishing industry, and to extend your love of the written word through advanced graduate study. Our coursework builds on a solid foundation in literature and our faculty members have the practical, hands-on expertise you need in order to gain a competitive edge in your chosen career. As a student, you will enjoy the opportunity to study your craft with published authors and experts in the publishing industry. You will expand the boundaries of your talent in workshops and seminars, experience new techniques and points of view, discover the rich traditions of world literature, and gain invaluable insights into the dynamics of creative self-expression. You'll discover that we offer a number of program options. You may choose to earn your M.A. in English & Publishing with a concentration in: Editing and Writing, Production and Design, or Marketing and Sales. We understand that you are a busy adult with many other commitments in your life, so we keep our course scheduling as flexible as possible. We meet in the evenings and on weekends throughout the calendar year. Our classes are small and our approach is personal. Program graduates have been highly successful in obtaining and advancing their careers in all aspects of the creative enterprise- as writers, teachers, editors, proofreaders, columnists, agents, managers, production managers, designers, sales representatives, and marketing directors.
