The Teacher of Visual Art (Pre-K-8 or 5-12) program leading to the M.Ed. degree is intended for the student who holds an undergraduate degree with specialization in the visual arts, and wishes to receive certification to teach visual arts in the Massachusetts public schools. The program leads to the M.Ed. degree with Initial Teacher Licensure and offers advanced studio courses and arts education courses.
