American University's MA in TESOL is distinctive in its focus on actual experiential learning: students plan lessons, observe classes, and design tests for English language classes. Faculty draw on their extensive teaching experience, research, and interaction with other cultures to provide pragmatic lessons and advice. This flexible program allows for full-time or part-time attendance, with most courses offered at convenient times in the evening.
